FIL Niños, libros para los más pequeños
En esta edición se impartirán 17 talleres con 24 sesiones de ilustración, impresión, periodismo, arquitectura y poesía
¿Cuántas sorpresas se guardan en una caja? ¿Cómo se escribe una nota?¿Cómo se imprimía un libro hace cien años? Estas y otras respuestas se encontrarán en los talleres espontáneos de esta edición de FIL Niños, espacio dedicado a los lectores en formación que desde su nacimiento ha sido un terreno donde la imaginación, las letras y el juego se encuentran. Las pequeñas y pequeños tendrán la posibilidad de explorar su creatividad en alguno de los 16 talleres espontáneos que se impartirán este 2016, con 24 sesiones, así como disfrutar de espectáculos de clown, títeres, narradores, música, danza y cine.
Entre los creadores que participarán en esta edición se encontrarán: el colectivo El Ilustradero, que ofrecerá un taller donde los pequeños crearán un mural colectivo con cajas de cartón. La escritora argentina Ruth Kaufman y el ilustrador argentino Diego Bianki impartirán un taller basado en la obra del artista renacentista Arcimboldo, en el que los niños jugarán con frutas y verduras a crear personajes inspirados en este artista; Kaufman es autora de títulos como Agua salada, que recupera una muestra del trabajo que la escritora ha realizado en la coordinación de talleres infantiles, y Bianki ha publicado obras para niños y jóvenes, y representado a su país con talleres de ilustración en diversas ferias del libro.
Habrá un taller impartido por periodistas del diario español El País, en el que los participantes aprenderán a redactar una nota y a elaborar su propia portada personalizada del periódico. En el taller Compostarte, realizado con el apoyo de la iniciativa Impacto0, se sensibilizará sobre el impacto ambiental que se genera en las ciudades y sobre los diversos tipos de cultivo de un huerto. El ilustrador y animador estadounidense Christian Robinson, quien ha colaborado con Pixar Animation Studio, con un taller de collage basado en el libro Gastón, título reconocido con el mejor libro del año 2014 por Horn Book, Kirkus y Amazon. Con letras de madera y metal, los artistas plásticos y editores José Clemente Orozco Farías, Gerardo Espinoza y Carlos Armenta mostrarán a los pequeños el proceso de impresión con tipos móviles, un arte que recupera el modo de creación de libros de hace cien años.
El colectivo integrado por la Unión de Arquitectos UIA, Architecture & Children Work Group, Arquitectura y los Niños México impartirán un taller donde los participantes conocerán sobre algunas de las obras de arquitectura más importantes de la historia. El Fondo de Cultura Económica celebra 25 años de la colección A la Orilla del Viento con una serie de charlas con destacados autores como Triunfo Arciniegas, Norma Muñoz Ledo y Alicia Molina. En el marco de esta celebración participará también el ilustrador alemán Sebastian Meschenmoser con un taller de creación de ropa para uno de los personajes de su libro Martín y la llegada de la primavera; Sebastian ha recibido reconocimientos como el Premio Pincel de Plata en 2008, y a la fecha ha escrito e ilustrado once libros que se han traducido a quince idiomas.
Los asistentes a FIL Niños encontrarán también una cartelera de espectáculos de 28 compañías nacionales e internacionales que presentarán en su foro de espectáculos, espacio ubicado en el área infantil con una capacidad para 600 personas, donde se presenta la apertura de muchas de las propuestas escénicas que luego tendrán temporadas en la ciudad, así como producciones creadas específicamente para este foro.

TALLERES ESPONTÁNEOS FIL NIÑOS
Una caja son mil mundos (o casi)
Una caja puede contener lo que sea. Dentro puede existir un objeto, muchos objetos, un vacío, un mundo, miles de mundos. Partiendo de esas posibilidades crearemos un mural colectivo dentro de FIL Niños, en la que la mayor cantidad de visitantes se sumen y se construya una gran obra llena de color, ideas e imaginación. El motivador principal es qué queremos que pase con el mundo, y así mirar un poco hacia el futuro y hacia dentro de nosotros mismos para proyectar esas miradas en objetos palpables que puedan ser conocidos por el resto del mundo. Pequeños grandes periodistas en la FIL
Taller de periodismo infantil impartido por profesionales de El País. Saldremos a buscar información por el recinto de la Feria del Libro y regresaremos a nuestra Redacción en la FIL para publicarla. Durante el taller, los alumnos aprenderán a redactar una noticia y podrán elaborar su propia portada personalizada del periódico. Muchas de ellas serán publicadas en elpais.com, en donde más de quince millones de personas podrán disfrutar del talento periodístico de los más pequeños. Impartido por El País. Dirigido a niños entre 10 y 12 años.

Esta actividad busca dejar una semilla en el corazón de los niños, donde el crecimiento interno sea de gran impacto. Por medio de actividades lúdicas, los niños practicarán hábitos de convivencia como solidaridad, libertad, responsabilidad, trabajo en equipo, al mismo tiempo que conocen más acerca de la naturaleza y el impacto ambiental que generamos en las ciudades. Aquí aprenderán los diferentes tipos de cultivos que se pueden tener en los huertos. Impartido por Impacto0. Dirigido a niños entre 7 y 12 años

Nariz de higo
Este taller fue ideado a partir del libro Nariz de higo, poema de Roberta Iannamico e ilustraciones de Bianki. Fue dictado en Tucumán, en el marco de las actividades organizadas por el Plan Nacional de Lectura; y en Italia, en el marco del Festival Minimondi, que se realiza todos los años en febrero en las escuelas de Parma. Basados en la obra del artista renacentista Arcimboldo, los niños jugarán con frutas y verduras a crear personajes inspirados en el libro.Imparte: Diego Bianchi y Ruth Kaufman.

Taller de collage con Christian Robinson: creando con Gastón
Le gusta contar historias con imágenes, y se desarrolla como ilustrador y animador en San Francisco, California. Ha trabajado con Pixar Animation Studios, el taller de Plaza Sésamo, y ha ilustrado una serie de premiados libros. Gastón fue nombrado como el mejor libro del año 2014 por Horn Book, Kirkus, y Amazon. Su más reciente libro, Last Stop on Market Street, es un bestseller de The New York Times. En este taller, Christian Robinson enseñará con la técnica de collage cómo hacer al simpático perrito Gastón y a otros personajes del libro. Taller de tipos móviles
Entre letras de madera y metal, los asistentes a este taller descubrirán todo lo que hay detrás de un libro. Además, podrá conocerse el oficio de la edición y la impresión como se realizaba ¡hace cien años! Mediante varias estaciones, los niños tendrán la oportunidad de usar y conocer tipos móviles de todos tamaños; usar cada tipo para formar palabras; entintar con rodillos las palabras y prepararlas para imprimirlas en una antigua prensa Chandler. Juntos experimentaremos con la materialidad de la palabra y conoceremos los orígenes de la imprenta. Impartido por José Clemente Orozco Farías, Gerardo Espinoza, Carlos Armenta.

Curiosidad, asombro y perplejidad, visualizaciones en arquitectura para niños
El niño, como usuario de la ciudad, es estimulado por su entorno y lo percibe por medio de sus sentidos. La arquitectura como expresión estética es el elemento predominante en el paisaje urbano, y se hace visible en distintos lenguajes. Con la visualización de imágenes, la observación de libros tridimensionales y la realización de actividades como el pop up, los participantes en el taller conocerán y aprenderán sobre obras arquitectónicas que les despierten curiosidad y provoquen en ellos asombro y perplejidad a partir del trabajo de importantes arquitectos como Gaudí, Gehry, Hadid y Niemeyer, incluyendo a artistas como Hundertwasser, cuyas obras coinciden en el uso de formas y elementos de la naturaleza en la arquitectura. Impartido porla Unión Internacional de Arquitectos (UIA), Architecture & Children Work Group, Arquitectura y los Niños MÉXICO.

En la orilla del viento también habitan vampiros, gatos y otros amantes de los cuentos y la poesía. Narración del título Roberto está loco, a cargo de un cuentacuentos, charla-convivencia con el autor y al finalizar, el público creará y decorará la corona de Roberto. Público familiar

Taller con Sebastian Meschenmoser
Empujados hasta la orilla del viento, Martín y el malhumorado señor Pug llegan para jugar. A partir de la lectura de su libro Martín y la llegada de la primavera, el ilustrador creará junto con los niños, la ropa para la figura del erizo. Dirigido a niños entre 6 y 10 años.

Charla con Norma Muñoz Ledo
Seres fantásticos aparecen y desaparecen en la orilla del viento. Narración del título Bestiario de seres fantásticos mexicanos, a cargo del cuentacuentos. Norma Muñoz Ledo participa en una charla-convivencia en la que al final los asistentes podrán imaginar y realizar un ser fantástico. Dirigido a niños entre 6 y 12 años.

Entrañables y enigmáticos personajes desfilan por la orilla del viento de la mano de Alicia Molina. Narración del título La marca indeleble, a cargo del cuentacuentos. Charla-convivencia con la autora y al finalizar, el público participante creará un dragón con una marca. Público familiar.
